Check out tonight'* Speed Report replay on the SPEED Channel, if you have cable. They show the setup that Alex Zanardi is using in his GT car for his hand-controls.
Ultra cool, he uses a pedal for a right-foot brake, and the accelerator is built in to the wheel, and is operated by tilting the wheel forward and back.

i have cable but its only the 70 channel plan so no speed tv I dont think.
