Default Hang out with which candidate?

Its simple. Which guy, Bush or Kerry, would you like to hang out with.

To hang out with, I would like Bush, Because...He is a baseball fanatic and would be someone I would gladly take to a party or bar. Corny jokes are an easy ice breaker. Plus, he talks more on my level and aint afraid to show his temper or concern. I think its cool that Kerry plays hockey, but with him surfing with some flower jacket, it takes all those cool points away from him.

Cheney and Edwards? Well most likely Edwards because Cheney is a little frightning, but if I ever needed a partner in Risk, Cheney would be my man!

I'd like to hang out with Cheney. If I was with bush, i'd keep thinking about that $527 or whatever Billion deficit... don't really like kerry or edwards either.

Bush didn't make any deficit. The Keynesian policy from the late 50'* until Regan stopped it created the Deficit.

Man, this country was founded on defecit and will always have one. Bush just seems like a down to earth kind of guy, which I like.

This has always confused me, but why would we pay off the deficit? Who would we be paying, and what is the advantage of doing it?

I dunno. I don't know too much about the science of economics.

But I don't think I would get along with either, unless they liked cars or computers.

Yeah, I'm with ya. So we pay off a bit of the national debt...so what?!?! We are going to owe money from now until forever-it'* never going to be paid off.

i was wrong... i just checked and the deficit is around $413 billion. it was projected $520 ealier this year, but we turned out better than expected Still a new record. And yes, Bush did increase the deficit by cutting taxes and increasing spending. Dont fight with an economics major!

Logan--paying off the debt would involve the government buying less bonds from the public, and repaying the social security fund.

at any rate, the deficit isn't crippling anyway. part of living the good life...

The thing is that many, many, many other countries owe us as well. Wether it be in money format or help in a crisis.
