They already are. "We've" been expecting this. Try to buy a new AR15. Any decent priced ones are sold out everywhere. I'm pat. I did pick up a nice new toy for more casual shooting. A Browning Lever Action .243. All aluminum alloy except the barrel. 8 pounds. Nice rifle to carry all day and plenty of action with a 100 grain bullet for what we can hunt around here. Looking for a bigger mag for it. Like the 5 round for everyday. But wouldn't mind having larger just because.

I have the need for another gun safe myself. My daily pack is a Glock 27, extended mag and laser sight. I'm a collector, plus I have a Class 1 FFL. Sales started picking up in this state soon after the current prez made the announcement that he was running.

I wasn't happy with the glock. After firing 400 rounds my hand hurt. I switched to the *&W. A much heavier gun, but the recoil didn't hit the hand as bad. I have (now expired) a carry permit.

No need for permit here, as long as it'* holstered. But something you dont want to forget to take off if going up into NY for groceries. Dam Yankee Communists. Not into handguns myself. I like range.
Which *&W are you packing Dan? I am hopping up a Sigma right now. Looking forward to getting to the range with it. I just picked up a new .22 for the kids to train with too. Venom is right, try finding a reasonable or available AR15 right now. Near impossible. Those that have them are charging an arm, leg, and a left reproductive organ for them.

Handguns are a matter of preference for form, fit and function. Some days its the Glock, sometimes the Sigma .380 or the Sigma .40 - all depends. I am well versed in all three and when I change my carry, I spend time at the range re acclimating myself with the point of aim, feel and function. I have elected to not carry Hi-Cap maz to reduce weight and to get out of the 'spray and pray' mentality of gansta style shooting. Three well placed rounds are far better than 15 shot down range wildly!
