I keep my change in a huge empty bottle of JD. The best part is that I didn't have a huge empty bottle of JD when I got the idea to put my change in there...if you know what I mean.

My personal piggy bank is one of those fire extinguishers you have to turn upside down to activate. Cut a slot in the lid and good to go. All change goes in, regardless of denomination, and the last time I cashed in, it came out to $240 in quarters alone. This time,I'm determined it won't get cashed until it'* full. That should be a nice chunk towards a down payment on a G8 GT.
