Why didn't he just buy a GP GXP? I bet he was mildly upset when he heard about it.

yes, but wouldn't a 5.7 have more oomph than a 4.6...

if he thought right, you could get the vette engine cover on it, bondo or fiberglass (i think you could use it..) over the embossed Corvette logo ?

The GP GXP has a 5.3L small block, not the Northstar. Almost as much power as the last LS1.
