Default GTP governed or not?????

Well me and my friend have been contimplating wether or not this 99 gtp he has has a governer or not we had it up to 124 at the track and I thought the governer would be lower than 124 I was thinking like 109 or 115 or something like that. The grand prix on the back is gold along with the GTP supercharged badging on the side is gold so I was wondering if mabey it had some kind of special package in it........ highered governer or something.......... after 115 we use the heads up display to see the speed cause his speedo maxes at 115 but the heads up display maxes at 199 btw we had er up to 124 in no time then we decided that we didn't want to die today so we backed down

Gold badging means the car was produced after lunch on a thursday at the Bumfuck, Egypt plant. Or it means nothing. I don't remember which.

Funny, GTP'* are governed lower than SSEi'*?

Well you can buy the GTP badge overlay'* in different colors so maybe the previous owner do this.

Also, Will, what the HECK are you talking about? You must be referring to Series II SSEi'* because I ain't seeing anything over 108 mph according to my HUD

Then for some reason your car came ordered from the factory with something less than H rated tires like the SSE and SE. That'* what they're governed at.

Try this:

1st of all, 156mph down a two lane road? I give you crazy props for taking on such a task because I'd probably have soiled my pants by 145.

2nd of all, about this 108 thing. THIS SUCKS! I need a new PCM. Anyone got one that goes over 108? Either that or its CHIP time. Oh yeah, that sucks too. No One makes a chip for the 95....boohoo....
