I agree about the Monte carlo ss. Those things suck. What'* even worse is a couple of years ago they had the special Dale Earnheart edition. Pretty much they just put some stickers, and made it look a little better. NO engine work.

I think the new GTO is a beautiful car. It, the Bonneville, Dodge Intrepid, and Audi A8 are the only cars I think are good looking for 04.

I know I'll get flamed, but I think the 04 GTO is a million times better looking than old GTO'*.

The supercharged Monte ss with the L67 isn't good enough? It'* as much power as the 305'* put out in the 80s... if not more.

I wouldn't mind too much if they kept it a Z34, but SS just used to mean something. You are right it is faster more HP than the 80'* ones, but they got the same motor F-bodys got, just not the fuel injected versions, everything was slow in the 80'*. (In mexico MCSS got the 350 it deserved) But it was rwd and a very modifiable platform and had style IMO... I dont know, Im kind of in a bind here ragging on FWD SC cars since most of the board is I dont mean any offense. I like my Bonnie and all but if I was going for performance I would want a V8 rwd, just easier and cheaper in most applications, Who here would honestly mind if they had a LS1 RWD in their Bonnevile? I respect souped up FWD cars tastefully done though. No rice in my burrito please...
Sorry for the thread hijack, now back on topic :P

I meant as the stock platform, god it would be an assload of money to convert. There was a company that converted a newer MCSS to RWD with a LS1, I dont remember the cost but money wasnt an issue....
