Okay, so I have a "borrowed" copy of XP, right? Windows media player pops up for an update, so I'm like, sure, why not. As soon as it finishes downloading, it says it needs to verify windows is genuine before I can use it! Now I have to dig out an old copy of wmp and uninstall version 11. It just won't work at all. Maybe I'll just have to switch to another media player. One that isn't owned by the allmighty. I don't know. Whatever. More of a challenge I guess.

I know! Who do they think they are? Like we are all made of money or something? But see, I'm really helping them. Because if it wasn't for ppl like me, they wouldn't have to keep making "better" versions of stuff. They have to try to tempt ppl like me to get the newest version and abandon my borrowing ways!
I tried downloading v.10, and it still got 11 some how. Whatever. I went to uninstall the player, and it has this rollback option. One restart later and I'm back to v.6. Guess Microsoft didn't think that far ahead on that one

Okay, already don't like it. Anytime I open a window or even scroll, it 'remixes'. You know, kind of bogs down. Just my machine or is this just what happens?
