The first one, came out in the '70s, and the second one came out 4 years ago.. with Nicolas Cage, Angelena Jolie [sp?], and all those lovely characters.

Have to agree with ya there, BonEvil. I did like that movie alot However, I really think you guys would get a kick out of some of the old classics. Just go to AFI.com, look at their Top 100 Movies list. A great movie is a great movie; who cares about the special effects If you haven't, go out, do yourselves a favor: Watch Casablanca and Lawrence of Arabia. You'll be glad you did And, heII, Lawrence has some damn good scenary and passable special effects, especially considering the time period. And tell me what you guys think of 'em post-viewing. I dare anyone to say either sucks

Yeah Kyle, I'll second the vote for The Usual Suspects being an awesome movie. It totally rocks. If you haven't seen it, you need to .

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and ****** were both great films, as well as the first installment in the Matrix trilogy. I've also got to give Mel Gibson a shout out for Passion of the Christ. For all the controversy, it undoubtedly conveyed huge amounts of emotion and realism. Just like Saving Private Ryan, the Passion makes the events of history come alive and seem much more palpable.

I'd have to throw in Fight Club and Braveheart. I just love how twisted Fight Club was. It really messed with your head. And Braveheart was just so darn touching. I actually fought back a tear on that one.

I agree with you on those points, big. Oh, and Lakeville - no excuses, my friend. I have ADD too, and I never let it stop me from watching the good, long movies Just take a break and do something else for a half hour or something when you feel your attention start to wander. And besides, a really good movie will keep your attention in the first place So, stop making excuses and watch it already! lol...
