Grandma'* 100th
The kids and I just got back from Edmonton to celebrate my grandmother'* 100th birthday. I really didn't want to go, because I don't like travelling in the winter, and plus the kids had to miss a lot of school. But I am so glad I went. My grandmother looks fantastic!!!!! She does not remember anyone, but she still is in great shape, and she looks soooooooo cute. Jess didn't leave her side for one moment at the little party we had for her on Friday. All of my aunts and uncles were there, along with some cousins, of whom I have not seen in 10 years. it was great to get together for this wonderful event. It was very cold, and windy, but well worth the trip and everyone looks great and we can't wait to see each other again this summer.

It must have been a Great time.
I went to my Grandmother'* 100th Birthday party two years ago. She had all her senses...even though she only spoke Italian she was able to communicate with everyone in her own special way.
She died later that year so we were fortunate to have seen her for one last time with the whole family. It was a very memorable time.

That is so awesome that you got to share that monumental occasion with her. I lost my grandparents years ago.
I'm glad you went and had fun!!
