SOB, I was a dependant under my mom too, and I don't even live at home all of the time. I'll be moving out permanently to my own place in June. Maybe I'll be able to coax my mom into a guilt trip about how much gas money I spend going to school and back every day and take the $300 lol.

Good thing that we had to borrow the money for our "economic stimulus" package from CHINA. That way we can turn around and stimulate CHINA'* economy and still owe them billions of dollars at the same time. Hasnt Bush left office yet?

George Bush=President D'uh
Jeb Bush=Governer D'uh

Time for the Bush'* to go back to Texas.

If anyone thinks that this measly "stimulus" is going to fix the housing crisis or springboard this country out of a looming recession they have their head on sideways.

Vital49 had the right idea with the wrong facts. There is NEVER any such thing as free money. We may not pay for this directly, but someone has to eventually...one way or another.

Just my $.02

yes, although this is labeled as a stimulas package, it isn't. If I had credit card debt, I would use it to pay it off. I am using it to buy a contract on heating oil for next winter, since I am banking on fuel oil to be alot more expensive next winter. So, it is going to an oil company, with the end benefit of lowering the cost of living next winter, preparing for the upcoming economic crumble.

But that'll all be offset with how much gas costs to travel to canada.... And the money that I'd blow in the bars up there.
