Am I seeing things, or are those newer Bonneville rims?

Do they actually fit a Honda??

Actually looks pretty good.

I'm impressed

looks very good. is the bolt pattern the same, or just "close enough"?

It'* more of a Close enough (5x114.3mm vs 5x115mm)

And this would be permenant for the winter if it works out. My father got some 17" snows for cheap ($80) and was looking for a set of rims for them. After I found the 2000 SSEi in the yard with these, I told him they might fit since I know We've used the 5x114.3 rims on our cars.

He'* got all 4 on the car now and is going to try it out for a couple days. The tires on them are not the greatest at the moment, but he wants to make sure there will be no issues with them before mounting the new tires.

As a back up, if they don't work, these will go on my brother'* GP GT since he has 17"* on the car now with the 114.3 bolt pattern and those would go on the honda with the snows on them.

Acura is currently wearing it'* Steelies with Blizzaks (needed to pass inspection) and the bonneville is all but away for the winter.

Well, it'* my father, so there isn't any of that. And he'* already taken it to a parking lot to check for rubbing, and they do not rub anywhere. The snows have a smaller sidewall, so they should fit the space better. The pictures are cell phone pictures, but I'll get some with my regular camera later tonight.
