Default Got passports handy?

I heard on the radio yesterday that in the very near future passports will be required to go to Canada and return to the US and visaversa. I haven't planned any trips to Canada but would one day like to visit. I guess I'll have to get a passport eventually.

Whenever I have to cross I use that as my ID. They don't stamp it, though.

It serves as your driver'* license and birth certificate as one. Plus, I've found that you're less likely to get hassled if you have the Passport.

Or just get your passport now. Avoid the rush. When I got mine it was just over $100 (5 years ago). They're good for 10 years.
