Got a new phone the other day
I think Im getting the LG Ally with the droid OS next week... Some of the apps out there are nuts. There is a db meter app lol. Im sure its not to accurate. how in the heck would that even work?
Android apps are nice. I love my Droid. Too bad I've only got about a month of use out of the year owning it. Damn Iraq and Korea.
Anyway, on the dB meter, I'm sure it'* accurate. Any basic mic and the right software can measure how loud something is.

Lovin my Droid.
Wait til you use the navigation ..... and try the microphone to speak your text messages. (if you do much texting, it'* great).
On that diagnostic app. Is that Torque? If so, last I knew no one had been able to get the KR piece of it working properly. Please let me know if you have success with it. Been looking at it a lot as it would make some quick plug in and go diagnostics very easy.

Yes, Bill, the app is Torque. You can search for that and it will show up on your phone. The adapter is on Ebay, just search for bluetooth OBD2
Sorry John, no tuning, just diagnostics. Not sure if I would want to tune with my phone.
As soon as I get the adapter I'm sure I will be playing, and taking lots of pictures.

Last I had read, the programmer was working to get KR available. They did that, but it wasn't reading the actual parameter off the pcm. Seems like they are on it and it'll be working like a champ soon, if not already.

Does the Droid do all the usual Iphone apps. Like listen to a song and tell you what it is, how many versions, download them from Itunes? Or photo a book and have it'* ISBN come up on the 'net with a list of where to buy/prices. I know the "I" has a plethora of near useless apps out there, but some are very practical.
