...by my winch bar. Had a chain binder lever snap off in my helper bar on Friday, and the helper bar came back and nailed me across the forehead, right above my eyebrows. Fortunately, it didn't hit my glasses. I've got a nice knot on my forehead but no color. For some reason, I've got a bit of a mouse over both eyes, like the bruise is leaking down.
It hurts.

Plllbbbbttt!!!!! I admit I got self-owned but it'* mot like I could see it coming. I had a solid pieice of steel snap like a twig while I was putting about 400-500lbs of force to it with a 3ft steel bar. I do it in the safest manner possible, pulling back on it while standing to the side, so that if I lose my grip, it flies away from me. But because the binder itself actually broke, it just went off in a random direction.
I think the damn bar actually hit the trailer and ricocheted back at me.

I will not dignify this slander with a response.
