Thats cool but I have always hated online direction sources. Mapquest being the absolute pits. I remember going to Chicago it told me to go up 35 all the way to 94 and go 60 miles out of my way when the right way is to go down 52 to Rochester and take 90 over.
That wasn't a glitch, it was an Easter Egg
And the online routings may not use your preferred route because they default to what should be the quickest route. It may not actually be quickest, but when you consider they have an algorithm that computes that stuff, not people, it kinda makes sense.

Interesting, I have never had a problem with Maquest. In fact, I have found it to be incredibly accurate. Must just be lucky.
Ofcourse, I usually look at the maps and plan my own route just to be sure. I like to see what I am getting into.

I like mapquest and have just recently printed out directions to my friends new house in Bloomingdale, IL and then on to Garden Prairie, IL. I will be all over the place next week.
