Default Goodbye for now guys =**( I'll miss you

Hey everyone, just wanted to say see ya for now until maybe March but otherwise June/ July sometime :( . I leave next Tuesday for Lansing and Wednesday for basic training in Texas. Hopefully I come out a whole new person!!! If all goes well I hope to be stationed on Hurlburt AF Base, FL in the Gulf. Otherwise my next choice is Charleston AF Base in SC. Wish me luck and Chad... he'* goin over to Iraq around August sometime, once I'm in I'm volunteering to go bc I want to be a part of it and to be near him(but the AF doesn't get put in the middle of it all). So things are going to be rough trying to get used to things away from Grand Rapids and w/o Chad until he gets home and we can hopefully get married and find a home on base or off but near it. I always have you guys though... no matter where I am someone'* bound to live near where I'm stationed!! I'll keep the Bonne don't worry... I'll have to make it to a meet when I'm stationed! Talk to you here and there before I leave but other than that it'* been a TON of fun with you guys!!! Even if I get ripped on for being mouthy sometimes and or picked on non-stop by the "un-named" but they know who they are!! Luv ya guys, glad I joined BC... trust me!

Good luck in your journeys. What is your goal to be in the AirForce?

If you and Chad want to be stationed together, why not look at getting married right now? Like just a small legal proceding, then have something once you two are settled down. The Military is usually pretty good with keeping couples together, especially if they are not part of any special ops units. It could save a lot of headaches in the long run.

Best of luck to ya in basic traianig.
It is alot easier to get stationed together if you are married. Militay hates to separate families. Hopefully you and Chad could get stationed in Charleston. That way I could pick on ya in person

I'm going into Security Forces... same thing as an MP basically. I signed for 4 years for now, that way if I want to re-up there should be a bit of a bonus maybe, and I never signed for 6 in the begining to skip getting it. Other than that, I did 4 so I could get out ASAP if I don't really like military life, but for now I'm using them for the education and experience bc I'm not the "go off to college" type and then get a job to help pay for it! I just bought my Bonne and have that and other payments to make lol and Subway and Eddie Bauer together, won't pay for it and school.
Chad is out of the military once he gets back to the US from over there, so it won't be hard for him to live with me/ or near me until things are figured out. I only have 4 more days and rushing to get married would only make things more chaotic and wouldn't seem normal to me. I think Chad'* scared anyways.. lol I'm jk he talks about it!! Anways, things will work out, it all just sucks right now but that happens I guess!

Initially that was my first choice until I was looking aorund and saw what Hurlburt looked like... who knows I may make Charleston my #1 and just put Hurlburt for #2, and the rest of Florida for #3- #8... I am afraid of hurricanes tho too lol! From what I've heard most Security Forces get their 1st choice bc they need them everywhere, but the jobs they do in some states suck. Florida and SC are good places for SF is what I was told when I asked about them.
