I've been lurking for 5 or 6 days now, ever since I decided I was going to get rid of my piece-o'-*#&t minivan (which has had too many problems to even mention.) I can't tell you how many times I've been razzed for driving "the family van" (since I'm fairly young - only 31.) Once I realized I could live without the cargo space I went shopping for a real car. I ALMOST bought a 2000 Chevy Impala LS (another damn fine car) but when my local trusted used car dealer got the Bonnie in trade (for a Ford F250 - imagine that!) he called me right up and had me drive it.
It made me feel like I felt when I had the Lumina - except with a lot more power! I think the bucket seats did it...
Anyway, I'm overly excited and can't concentrate on my work. And I don't even drink coffee....

31? Young??? Around here you become an old fart at 29 (unless you are a lady, in which case you are always young and beautiful regardless of your biological age). Search around for the poll on members' ages and read the threads. There are a lot of members pushing 24 yrs old.

OK, so it'* official - as numerical age is concerned, I'm an old fart.... 
I did see all those posts - I guess I just ignored 'em. My wife seems to think I'm going on 18 anyway, so I'll try to fit in with the young-uns. (I try to stay on the level of my 3-year-old!)
