My mom is looking for a car or van as her Buick is about to take a crap. This van has a blown engine, so I figured I'd pop a 3400 out of junkyard in it for her. Good deal? I heard they are a very nice van.

That'* an iffy one. I think the Venture came out in '97, and I've heard the first couple years (like with most cars) had a lot of bugs. But hopefully being 8 years old, they will be taken care of. Looks like a decent deal though.

My mom has one. I can get you pics of the major parts that rust areas once it gets back from getting rust proffed. It still rusted even getting rust proffed every year. 
We have the extended version but I would guess it would still rust in the same general spots.
