Thats actually one of the worst things you can do. Excluding certain facets of interest will surely kill the auto club, or at least greatly hinder it. Our car club was basically run by "American only" students, and it was almost extinct as of last year. During one of the auto-x events of the summer there was a guy that was trying to get the car club back on its feet, and he is a die hard import fan. He was asking what should be done to get the club back up and running, and the first thing he said before I could answer was that ALL facets of car interests would be welcome. These things stick with people.
Good luck with the start-up, and if you need a hand, drop a line.

good point. i just know that around here, there is so much rice you will go nuts. Most of the ricers think there fast, and not many are. Thats why I said that. Yes, your right, excluding a group will hurt a club. It depends on what kinda club you are trying to start.

good luck Pat!

Thats why you invite them in. The ones that think that they're fast will learn really quickly what fast is, and hopefully become better for it. Those that don't, well you tried, and can then laugh as you deem needed.
