It'* the least we could do to show our appreciation for the long (and sometimes thankless) hours your dad puts into the club and all the help and coordination he has provided for so many, here.

I am glad you could share in this moment with him and the BC family.

Well, you may be out of the loop a little, as I'm pretty sure your Dad already bought the Honda back, but just for a while. He'll still need it while the SLE is in the shop.

He got what was coming to him...at least mostly.

Aww this is cool! I was wondering what was happening with this little project.

How much did we end up coming up with?

Im glad to be a part of it, Senor Wren puts in A LOT of time and effort to keep this place going well. I still hang around this forum because of the way its run.

Hiya Lil One!

Good news, you'll still get to cruise the streets in the luxurious Honda...not long though. We were all glad to be able to give a little back to a good friend that gives to so many.

I know about your love for the Honda and only wish we could have found a way to have kept it from coming back at all. Maybe Barney can join you for the trips you must endure in it.

Hope to see you again this year at the wild west meet in July.

Hey Katie- I hope this shows you that no good deed goes unrewarded. We think highly of your dad for a good reason. He is a good man. He has to be tough sometimes but we all understand that it is for the good of the club and we know he is fair.

What goes around comes around and I'm sure your dad never thought that we would band together to help him. I, too, know how your dad likes to keep his problems to himself. We are a family here. Bill has met a lot of people and some he will never meet yet he helps everyone whenever he can.

I know you appreciate what kind of a dad you have. Now he has a clue as to how much we appreciate him too

This topic is a good example of the full effects of this PIF. You affected 3 members in one shot. Kim doesn't even know yet.

Katie and I have been discussing the logistics of the work this afternoon. When what car is going to be running/testing, dropped off, what gets done to what, etc. It'* pretty overwhelming.

The good news is that when I'm done with the Honda, I'll sell it to help pay for the two hub assemblies the Zilla needs desperately. As well as a few more suspension bushings.

Nothing wrong with a 1.5L Civic as an in-between car that you don't care about...
