Our local chapter of ClubGP had a dyno day today, and just for sh*ts and giggles, I ran the Shadow that I picked up from Pinky a while back.
First off, let'* make a few things clear, here. The 12 valve SOHC 3.0 V6 is rated for 140hp at the crank, stock.
This particular example is out of tune, roughly eye-ball timed, and is leaking from various places.
Oh, and it has 250,000 miles on the motor...

125hp, 163ft-lbs!

We had a pool going as to what it would do. Rogue won with a guess of 128.
Guesses ran from Todd'* at the high end, to 99 at the low end, with one DNF entrant... :?
I was floored by the results, my guess was maybe a little over 100hp in that tune, and I never expected 163ft-lbs...
And just think, the car only weighs 2800lbs...

Damn!!!!!!!!!!!! That little sucker makes nice power.

I dynoed Stargazer too... Even got vids of it.

I told brian that it'* bad enough when a DEAF man tells him to get a muffler for the Shadow....

No, but there was a puddle of coolant on it after ...bypass hose loosened up, NBD, just gotta tighten it up again.

Still kinda pissed that I missed it But it'* nice to see you guys had fun!

I think we may have...it started a REALLY loud rattle today...
Fortunately, it was on the way home to meet Sean so we could pick up the Buick...

Oh well, that engine had quite a life though.

Not sure what it is yet. It could just be a dropped adjuster. Don't worry, I won't let the car die yet...
