Default GMPD shipping charges!!!!!

Holy @#&@#@!!!!!
Dad was going to order the memory module for the drivers power seat in the 2004 Park Avenue Ultra. The part is about 10" long, 6" wide and 2.5" deep and weighs no more than 3 lbs.
How much do you think www.gmpartsdirect.com wants for shipping and handling?

When you do write and complain, let them know that even eBay is starting to take action against excessive */h charges.

I use these guys more often: mazdapontiacgmcparts.net
Prices are a little more but they have better customer service (email and phone to a live person).
Sometimes they send out emails offering free shipping on orders >$50. This usually ends up cheaper than GMPD.

Another thing I’ve noticed with GMPD is that most parts I lookup are “special order” parts and their policy says special order parts are non-returnable. Showcase Pontiac Mazda GMC just has 10% re-stocking fee.

however if you put down "flat rate shipping service" you can charge as much as you want.

Thats the loophole.
