many LIM gaskets leak on the 3800, funny thing is both my dads 03 SLE and my brothers 02 GT are both leaking as we speak. very minimal, but its there

I agree LIM gaskets seap a bit, but never seen one blow out and fill the engine as some claim. Better gasket, problem gone.

Nope! mine was a 3800 97 SLE, his was an 02 GT i think. my 2003 GTP was also leaking (you can tell from the exhaust)

I'm a little late to this but being an owner of a 97 S2 LESABRE and having owned two 90s and a 93 i would say not a chance in hell..You may get a run on some of the less maintained cars of same motor but you will not beat a gxp or an SSEI...id like to see you try to beat venoms gxp
