Something something something dark side....

If the 7-11 is open 24 hours and never closes.....why are there locks on the doors?? Why are the hot dogs so good with a slurpie at 3am??

I can't even begin to explain why [insert fast food item here] tastes amazing when it'* late and/or you're drunk. If I knew that, I could make millions through late-night infomericals. (It'll be harder without Billy Mays around to pitch it, though.)

However, my local 24-hour gas station has locks. Late one night, I found out why. The night manager sometimes locks the doors to mop the floors. If you knock, he'll let you in, even if the floor is sopping wet. I take it no one'* broken their neck yet.
