Not sure how many beretta fans are out there.

That used to be my dad'* 88 GTU car. He worked on the car when it was a GT and he had to paint the rims, but on the GTU GFX and the decals. Well, after GM was done using it he was offered a chance at buying it and he did. My dad worked at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI. Same place where the battery recently exploded.

Thought it was cool because no GTUs were that color from the factory. All red white and black. Plus those rims are different from all other GTUs.

I love Berettas. My first car was a 1991 GT with the 3.1. I'm determined to find a nice GTZ and transplant a W41 into it, and paint Cayenne Red. I also want a nice 96 Z26 in BRM (black rose metallic), black, or white.

I recently looked at a black GTZ with a 5 speed. Too much rust to even bother messing with it.

Did it have the V6 or HO Quad in it? There was a year (90 I think) that they had almost 200hp out of a twin cam 4Cyl.

reminds me of the gtu my buddy had when we were in school. his was red with the gtu rims. i dont know if it was the picture or what but i remember that car being lower i think because he was always complaining about changing the oil or any time he had to drive up on boards to jack it up.

The one I looked at had the quad 4. I'd rather have that over the V6.

the w-bodies had the quad four option back then, it was rattley and loud compared to the 3.1 and 2.8 and had alot of head gasket issues. take a look around for one thats still going. very few i would imagine.
