as for the warranty, i made the mistake of doing the get a quote thing on the gm website, and since about june nomatter what i say to them the dealer keeps harassing me via phone call. so one day i asked what the warranty on a cruze base model was and thats what they told me. it could have been the wrong info or the dealer could have messed with the warranty, i dunno. but if i were given the choice id go with the evo right now. i cant stand mitsu i think the car itself is too small and ugly as all hell, but a ten year warranty is hard to pass up. not that ill make enough to buy the only evo id ever own which is the evo lancer with the 2nd engine down from the top. same top speed, less acceleration better fuel economy.

as for money, its true money is tight but im making enough off of the gf'* coworkers... seems that everyone in the scientific community makes good money but drives shitty cars and they arent interested in getting new ones.... so till i can find a job (which admittedly i have been looking alot less and focusing alot more on getting grants and applying at tech schools for next year) thats keeping a decent amount of money in my pocket.

for the record i wouldn't pay 110 for this game if i thought it would affect my daily life. but the ps3 i had a choice of $300 store credit or less than $200 cash way back when so the credit has just been sitting there. and forza is about the only game i play. im addicted to racing games and forza is the only simulator on xbox.

on the forza subect, heres a few random cars... not sure why they added the sonic or h1 but whatever lol. if you zoom in you can read the descriptions. i am immensely looking forward to that syclone
Nah man, it'* cool. I jumped to conclusions and you defended yourself. That'* your right to do so.

On the GM thing, I dunno what to say about that. I dunno if you got the bad apple or if I've always gotten lucky. I've only ever had one major thing ever go wrong with any of my GM'*, and the warranty took care of it.

My 2001 Camaro had the catalytic converter get clogged, GM replaced it under the 80k emissions system warranty. The other two "major" things that went wrong with that car was that the drivers side window stopped working in 2008, replaced it myself. 7 years ain't bad out of a window motor. Then the back glass separated from the conv top. That one was my fault though because I took it through an auto car wash which in the manual it says NOT to do that.

My 2007 Avalanche had the clutch packs go bad. 2nd-4th completely exploded on me while I was driving. Warranty covered it, but I'm sure my driving didn't help it. After I got it back I added a transmission cooler to it, and never had a problem again.

Now, my 2002 Bonne. It'* been out of warranty since I bought it. No big deal though. Two things have happened to it. First, passenger side window motor failed. Didn't have the space or the tools so I let the mechanic do it. $200, not bad. Then right before I left for Iraq, it didn't wanna stay running. I don't remember exactly what it was, but the mechanic fixed it again. $300. Also, I went to change the factory stock battery. Yes, the one that came in the car when it was bought new, in 2009. Dang thing was so old that the side posts snapped off. Buddy at the mechanic charged me $25 to clean up the acid spill and get the stuff off the posts so I could get a new battery.

So, three cars. Two of which are now "old", and no reoccurring significant problems. I'm truly sorry to hear about all the problems you've had with your family of cars.

Now, onto Forza. That game looks sweet. I was looking into getting Forza 3, but if that'* coming out I might as well wait.

Just found out that insurance is cheaper for a 2010 Camaro (V6) than a 2012 Cruze ECO... Interesting...

lol. at the insurance. as for forza, you cant really go wrong if you like racing games. if you prefer arcade racing games id definitely recommend borrowing a copy of 3 before you dump 60,80 or 120 on it lol. 4 is basically 3 with more tracks cars and better graphics. (they finally added infenion)

on a different note, me and the gf were eating downtown and i went to open my door and the handle broke again..... thats 3 out of 4 handles lol. what i did was put the back handle in the front and repaired the front handle and put it in the back because its used less. well now the 3rd factory handle is broken lol. so now i have a project for monday... although it kinda forces me to be a good boyfriend and open the door for the gf now lol.

ive got a tut on that here...

might make a video one though

what i think ill do is try to save up and get a regal... not sure if i want the gs or not. the zzp $800 turbo is pretty nice. but my thinking is a regal is cheaper and lighter than my car. so in theory it wont have alot of the same problems. (wheelbearings brakes fuel economy etc)

plus this dude really has me wanting one because it has somewhat of an aftermarket lol
