It does make a difference in a car because you are still bouncing the waves off one end or the other of the vehicle and the end you bounce them off changes things. Plus with the back seat out you are now in the same air space as the the subs, whereas with the back seat in you are in a separate air space.

yea def... I hate other drivers.. since mines been hit 3 times and keyed once im a little scared to even get a new car. Im real paranoid of people stopping behind me since getting rearended :/
