I agree. 100%. I've had my hotmail account since 97. Works very well for me and MSN does a good job of getting rid of the spam. No need to change. Too many people have the address and I'm always WELL below the 200 MB limit. Actually right now I'm at about 2 MB. Gmail and other large email limits just offer another dumping ground for things. IMO, email accounts shouldn't be a storage tool, but a communication tool.

Aside from the massive amount of storage space, Gmail also has the "conversation archive" feature... it groups messages together by topic automatically, so I don't have to create and maintain a bunch of folders. Works very well for the multiple online forum notifications that I receive daily.

hotmail/msn has aggressive spam filtering now that does not always allow email you want to get through because it'* so aggressive and you have no control if you recieve it or not when it'* on their end. That, and there is a big difference between 1000 MB and 200 MB.

Yea, 200 would suck, luckily my MSN has 2000 mb aka 2GB.
