k, just called (twice - there'* somethin wrong with their phone system right now). i'm pretty sure i have 4 more on their way to my house (possibly 8, if the first order went through alright before the phone cut me off). they said it should be 7 days or so before i get them.

that won't give you too much time to go out and get a vehicle, so if you're serious about using these, pick out the car ahead of time and i'll get one to you as soon as i get it myself...

What are these GM in the Driveway certificates? What are they good for? Where do you get them?

The GM in the Driveway certificate is available only to GM employees. The GM employee can give them out to friends that do not qualify as an eligible person for purchase of a car under the GM Family Option.

The certificate entitles you to a percentage off of a new GM car. I have purchased my last two cars using the GM Family Plan Option 1 which gave me 15% off the MSRP of the base cost and 18% off the car options. Here is a link to the GM website.
