i just called the Place that rebuilt the $32.00 supercharger, and spoke with the guy that rebuilds them....OMG what a dumbass....i was explaing to him that i have a Gen 3 M62 and
he askes "what is that".....
then i explain the difference between the Gen 2 and the Gen 3.....I tell him that there is no Epoxy on the rotors of the Gen 2 and there is supposed to be on the Gen 3
he says that there is "no Epoxy supposed to be on them and that they are painted"....." I know how to rebuild SC'*" He says,
i chuckle a little bit....."the tolerances are tight enough that you wont see a difference on a Boost gague"....
"i disagree with you SIR" i say you can tell the difference on a gague, and the Gen 3 is more efficeint because of the tighter tolerances that the Epoxy Provides...
He says "i dont have to have a history lesson in SC'* i know what im doing, and that is all that matters"...and then HUNG up on me.....

so who wants to call and set this guy straight, because he thinks that he is doing stuff right, and charging alot for the rebuilds....he is NOT doing the rebuilds correctly
here is the website and the 1800 number is on there.....

I gave him a call. This is what he told me

"I know what I'm doing, don't tell me how to do my job" and he hung up.

The nerve of some people.

BW... what do you think about something in Techinfo regarding rebuilders that are known for substandard work. I know currently there is a who to go to... and avoid Floz. However as we come across more is seems a listing may be in order.
