Default girlfriend'* car

So I had to drive my girlfriend'* car while mine was at the dealership. I forgot how much people could not care for their car and notice problems! It'* a '96 Oldsmobile Delta 88 LSS. The damn heater soundled like a dying chicken, it squeeled loudly everytime I drove it. Once I hit 60 the car started shaking violently and I could hear what sounded like something was loose by my feet. Not to mention the pulsating brake petal and rear defroster either didn't work or it just took a looooon time to defrost the back window. All this, and than I get the response..."I thought that was normal, it'* always been like that"

For the vibrating at 60, you sure the lugnuts are tightned? Otherwise the guys would all jump on you soon to tell you to take care of that baby, we cherish all H-bodies

haha, yeah I'd hope that their tight, she just had snow tires put on. She just had front end work (new rack and pinion, etc) and I'm wondering if they messed something up or it could be a wheel bearing.

haha, yeah isn't it wonderful!?! Now I'm going to worry everytime she drives it! LMAO another thing was that the windshield wipers sucked and I told her and she said "they we're just replaced like when I bought the car!!!".... my response..that was over 3 years ago! And spark plugs....hmm, i think also over 3 years old from what she said! I'm tellin' ya it'* the normal maintenance things that keep a car going. Her car runs worse with 107,000 miles on it than my 92 lumina with 165,000 did.

Give her a good spanking, a lecture, and take it away.

For shaking, tires might need balancing, probably needs an alignment, check torque on lugnuts and the pulsating pedal is proabably warped rotors. Oh well. I dunno.

You shoulda met my ex wife. She could kill a car in six months. Every time I came back from a deployment, I'd have to take a week'* leave just to get the car running again....
