180hp from the more recent (2002.5 and newer?) turbo models, they got some oomph to them... I reckon a sprint to 60mph in about 7 seconds, if not less?

:P I think i will pass on the carbon copy cars, especially beetles. Too many of them on the road.

If you look at labels, even the "American" cars have lots of parts made in foreign countries or are assembled out of the US.

Besides, there is a Mitz assembly plant right here in the US. They put together many Eclipses, I believe.

As long as it'* safe and reliable, I really don't care what country it'* made in. Anymore, you would have to track down the VIN to see what part of your car was made where. So why bother being uptight about it?

I do hear that foreigns are often harder to work on though.

I second the VW Jetta. After college I would really want to get one of those 1.8turbo'*, I love their red gauges, GM should take note.

I thought that there was a red ouline around the blue... I could be wrong, I was looking up from the back seat so you are probably more correct. Anyways, I liked the way they looked, and GM should still take note.

Check into the 2002 Grand Am. They're small and sporty. Fairly safe and still a Pontiac. I had a 2002 Grand Am GT1 before the bonne.
