Should I wait for the current GM Incentives to Change?
Does anyone have any thoughts on the current and future GM incentives? Currently the incentive on a 2004 Bonneville is 3K. Do you think it will stay the same, go higher, or become less? I have 90% decided to wait until after April 1st and take my chances that the incentive will increase. There is not a lot of movement on the Bonneville at my local dealership and the car listing at Pontiac.com never seems to change too much. I believe that sales are a little bit stagnant during this time period.
I am looking at a Crimson Tintcoat Premier Edition fully loaded with a quoted price of $31,580 but I think I can get it down to $31,300 with a little arm twisting. My local dealer has offered me a White-Gold Tricoat for 30K but it does not have the power passenger seat or side airbags. Also I am not frond of the color. Decisions Decisions
Going to start to detail my black 95 this afternoon to try and sell in the near future. I hate to sell the car; it has been a good friend over the last 9 years.

The sticker price is HUGELY negotiable. My hp broker can get me nearly any car for a 'nickel deal', or $500 over factory invoice. I just turned this deal for my Mother in California on an 04 LeSabre.
It'* very easy to bluff this deal. And THEN take the incentives You won't be eligible for all of them with a nickel deal, but you may not need them at that point. Just tell them you found a broker through your wife'* work, and want them to match the deal. They'll do it, as they still turn a profit even if you buy UNDER invoice. They get kickbacks from GM for every vehicle sold.

My thoughts exactly. I was pleased with the 30K price so I know I can get the Crimson car down to under 31K. The crimson car has added features that are not on the White-Gold Tricoat car.
Thank you for your input.

Wish me good will tonight, I will lobby the boss hard to let me spend an extra 4K on a GXP. I know a lot of the members are not fond of the GXP but I like it'* style and performance packages. But if the boss still says no I will wind up with a new SLE so that is not to bad either.
