Ohh man, look at that HUGE arse resonator box on the intake. Rip that crap off and put a nice intake on it.

I love that car when I graduate college, get an engineering job, I plan on buying one. But I wont trade my bonnie for it, I'm just too attached to that car, the g8 will be my fun car. I can't remember who said it but whats so bad about the most recent bonneville interior? It'* got every button you would ever think to push, HUD, it'* driver oriented, the dash is made of vinyle over foam and not cheap plastic (Crysler and Ford), the only thing I could complain about is how the shifter feels somewhat flimsy when you move it. But yeah I cant wait to see one up close.

GM let slip at last month’* January show that between 30,000-50,000 Commodores could be exported to the US to become Pontiacs, but the official unveiling of the new G8 is this week at the Chicago Auto show.
does that mean pontiac is now just a company that puts new pieces on cars like roush?

anyone got numbers on this thing?

Desktop pics here:

I originally posted this in general chat, then it got moved here, then I get blamed that I didnt see this thread, but only because I hardly post in the lounge. LOL.

Anyway, the design is very nice, and the package is perfect for the MSRP price. I like it as a Grand Prix replacement. However it is definitely not a Bonneville. Needs hud, bucket seats, ect.

Hey, thanks for adding that in here. If there was a way I could combine I would have done it. The desktop pics are nice! I saved some already.

anybody notice that the g8 will be a little heavier than the bonneville (00+)? I remember that mine is supposed to wiegh around 3700 to 3800 and the g8 weighs like 3995 or something. just makes me wonder about how dang big it will be, we may get a bonnie replacement after all....., jeeze it really hurts to even say that....

My first impression is ....... UGLY...... but I thought my Wife'* Pacifica was ugly at first too and it grew on me.

So give it some time... Like for it to 3 or 4 years old before I buy one.
