I actually arrived home to find my brother doing that exact thing. I'll post those.

Based on the pics you took, I am seeing the camera picked shutter speeds of 1/250th of a second... easily hand holdable with MUCH more room to go before you even need a tripod. Especially with the stabilization.

Possibly, I was inside behind two layers of glass so, I'm sure that didnt help. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures your brother took.

Actually, every lunar eclipse happens during a full moon. The "Sun=>Earth=>Moon" lineup required to make the Earth'* shadow fall on the Moon ensures that lunar eclipses only occur during full moon.

Here are my best pics of the Lunar Eclipse at Totality and shortly after.
The pics are very dark and fuzzy, best I could do...

Some very good pics. I liked Haro'* the most.

Ya, I watched it. No camera.
The red glow was very erie.

You know that redish shadow is the earth'* shadow.
Red sky in the morning, red sky at night, red moon just aint right.

I went with a few friends out of town to watch it. Hot Chocolate and Baileys, went well.
Very cool thing to watch. Makes us feel all really small in comparisson.

My honey and I did actually watch it together. Of course we about 300 miles apart, but we watched it.
