I have a feeling one of my neighbours leaves some "special food" in order to take care of rodents and pests in general. Would explain why a total of three skunks died in my backyard in recent memory...

That'll just deflect off of 'em and/or **** them off, making it worse. Gotta get a REALLY good eye shot to actually do anything. Not sure if my dad'* 1100 foot-per-second .177 pellet gun would do the job, even.

Remember, a skunk'* spray is a defense mechanism. If you hurt them or cripple them, THEY WILL SPRAY LIKE CRAZY. The only way to kill a skunk without them spraying is a clean headshot, and skunk have tiny little heads...

We dont have skunks or racoons up here.

Saw one dead in central Washington on the side of the road the other day though :?

No skunks here either but lots of Racoons.

well the candle seem to help a lot last night. left it burning from the time I started this post till I went to sleep.

stepped outside this morning and can still smell him. but at least my house doesnt stink.

hopefully he has moved on.
