Default ******* bike insurance!

well I am looking at getting a 1990 Kawasaki Ninja 500 insured, well actually Renee is, and my company ( they are a broker) wants almost 4,000$ a year. They are nuts. Tomorrow I will try and call a few other places and see what I can find.

*shrug* they seem to be around here. My friend (23) has his 2002 Suzuki GSX-r 600 insured for about $400 for 8 months (can barely ride for that long around here).

That was with liability and accident benefits only ( which are mandatory), no collision on that one. That company is way out to lunch.

For strictly liability on my 1980 Honda CM400T, it'* $140 through Progressive for an entire year. Not a sport bike by a long shot, but still a motorcycle. And I have 3 speeding tickets in the past two years.

Renee would really like to get the bike, plus we already told the guy we would buy it, and we gave him a deposit on it. I am sure we will find a decent price on insurance even if it takes us a few months to track that one place down.
