ok one of my friends just called me from FT hood,
the part about the guy being a major is true
also him being a shrink true,
Two hanguns, that much damage, very plausible. it took the MP'* 15 minuites to get there so popping of 100 rounds isn't hard
motive for doing it he was slated to deploy to iraq and was unhappy about it given that he was muslim and would be killing his own kind ( funny he did the same thing at hood but was apparently ok with that)
was killed quickly upon arrival of the MP'* and SWAT one officer killed
Shooting occured out side the theater
Graduatuion at the theater was for the NCO academy scheduled for 14:00 (2:00PM non military)
12 dead 31 wounded so far final count not including psycho path with the guns

Official News sources kinda turned that around Sawgunner, saying that auditorium was locked down and the shootings happened at the Deployment Center. Wonder who the 2 "others" were and why they were realeased. The shooter is alive. A Major in the Army and an Arab American, who dressed in traditional Arab clothing, practiced Islam, and was being "watched" ??? by the Army already. Guess they didn't watch close enough. What as tragedy for the victims who volounteered to keep us safe. And the families that had already gave so much before adding the cost of a love one. Although I dont want or going to allow a flame against Arabs/Muslims here; where'* the Army'* head allowing someone of this persons profile to continue in his job and be given the free time and access to do something of this caliper. He was already on their radar. We don't know why, but do know once detected, his internet habits took him to Radical Islam sites. Many witnesses have reported he was screaming "God is great" in Arabic when he opened fire on those people. Many shot in the back and shoulders while fleeing. I myself am hoping an open investagation of his surveillance by Army authorities happens (Not likely) and a quick military trial and hanging occurs. They "dropped the ball" in a huge way and people need to be held accountable to those who lost family members, and lessons learned here. I hope the case stays in the Military'* sphere and Civilian Due Process and twisted Liberal lawyers are kept out of it. My thoughts and Prayers today go out to all affected by this awful tragedy.

Yep, I read a couple soldiers went over and retained everyone inside the theater for safety when the shooting started. The shooter is in a coma, but alive. He is expected to live.

This the time I'm conflicted on whether I want him to be alive now, to be shot and killed then.

If he would have been killed then, it'd be done. Over. No more. We wouldn't have to worry about tax payers paying for his jail cell and all that jazz.

Now he'* alive, and he will get whats coming to him, but at what cost to us now? You see what I'm saying.

Stupid idiot, if he didn't want to deploy so he wouldn't be killing his own kind, shoulda just put the gun to his head. No need to kill my brothers and sisters.

I am so angry that this was allowed to come to this. As I read on, I see Army Intelligence statements of "He was on our radar, and we were watching him" ??? WTF! They sound as though they are trying to pat themselves on the shoulder. ???

As the facts unfurl, we have a troubled Major of Arab descent who has needed counseling since the beginning, wore traditional Arab garb, practiced Islam, has listed his Nationality as Palestinian on many documents even though he was born in Virginia, been noted for having many arguments over his Religion and our occupation of Arab countries with fellow Officers, known participation in Arab extremist sites and forums, Where he states suicide bombers are Soldiers of Allah.

So the Army says what?, He was being watched? From where? Mars??? And with all this that they know, what do they do? Getting ready to promote him to Colonel? Send him to Iraq (Some sources quote Afghanistan)??? Disregarding his apparent agitation of it happening? I wonder just who should ultimately be held responsible for all this. He isn't crazy. He isn't mentally disturbed in any way. He is a religious fanatic the Army had it'* head up their collective azzes about. He is a sane "Soldier of Allah", who was allowed to carry out his conscientious feeling he was doing his duty. He all but had the guns put in his hands and the victims lined up in front of him.

i'm way beyond outraged! i'd like to go take care of him myself, i have some very sick methods of torture i would love to use and they would go on for weeks til he finaly dies from shock, blood loss and the pain!!!
