I took some darvaset (sp?). Pain'* gone now, but it was getting a little better before I took the drugs. I think I will get the surgery eventually. What was recovery like? How long...a couple weeks...how much pain, etc??

Well yes it was painful, but there is more to it though. This happened back in high school. I was at home for a week or so, then another couple weeks of draggin my *** at school. I had to get a "taxi" to drive me to school ( provided by the school board) cause the bus was out of the question.
