Default Forum member "integrity" !

I thought it might be interesting to post comments regarding transactions amongst forum members and remark on maybe their integrity!
I'd also like to comment on a transaction with a "Chase Smith". Prior to March of this year I had several transactions with forum members and in all sales shipped the merchandise shortly after the "buy" commitment from the member. I was "always" paid promptly and "thanked" for the courtesy! I never asked for "prior" payment. Maybe that was "foolish"!

PM'* exchanged 3/06

CS to me: Tell me where to send the check, I'll offer $40 shipped to 32097 for the dash piece.

me to CS:I can do $47! It'* a quite large package 43 X 14 X 7 and the shipping is tough! This would be USPS. It actually calculates to nearly $57 but I'd like one person to have one so they can speak regarding the quality! It'* boxed and ready to go. At the $47 figure I'm not quite even but close.

CS to me: That'* cool, just give me an addy and I'll send a check or money order.

CS to me: I'll put the check in the mail tomorrow. My address is Chase *edit to protect identity*

me to CS: Chase,
Your dash applique is in the mail! I got it to the Post Office about an hour after your last message telling me you would put the check in the mail. Let me know when you receive it ! Priority mail and insured. Thanks!!!!

3/19
me to CS: Chase,
Your PM'* indicate you were putting the check in the mail the 8th! I haven't seen it yet.I sent an e-mail through the BC but I'm unsure of wether it gets "forwarded" or not. How about getting in touch with me please. If you would rather call xxx-xxx-xxx all day Sunday, evenings 7:30 to maybe 9:00 PM!

3/20:
CS to me: I'm sorry that you have not received it, I thought my gf sent it out but she did not. I'm not trying to make up excuses, I just made a mistake. I will put the check in the mail today, sorry for the inconvience.

BTW - I'm very satisfied with the product, it'* gonna look great in my car as soon as I install the HUD.
---------------------------------------------------------
That obviously has never happened. I've emailed and sent him a few reminders during the year with no response. I offered a paypal so he could use a credit card if he liked. He'* been non-responsive to inquiries from other forum members and Jeff as well.
I'd sure like to comment on the integrity of the rest of the forum members who I had transactions with. I don't recall everyone and one fellow was in Germany. Thanks for the prompt payments and "your integrity"!
I don't visit this forum much any longer but on occasions. I've been pretty busy completing a couple Corvette projects. A Bonneville SSEi is still the preffered "daily driver" though!

Chase, let'* payup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twister97 and Roadtested, can you PM an Admin the amount you lost or product you didn't recieve?

Don't go into big details. Just the amount, what it was for, and when it was supposed to happen.

I'm assuming you both paid and never recieved product.

I probably (should have) dealt with this much earlier but I wanted to give him the opportunuty to deal with it. Sorry to hear your experience! Mine was not a large monetary issue and I hope yours wasn't also.

Mine was a "non payment" issue with him to me. I believe he ignored contact by Jeff regarding the issue also.
