Christmas has lost it'* meaning with every year that goes by it gets more and more commercialized...

If it were up to the missus, our tree would be up already.
I' probably be putting the lights up soon, too, to beat the cold weather.
Except ours will probably be on, and the tree up, right after thanksgiving.
And, believe me, we have not forgotten the meaning.
