Default Firefox problem

I use firefox, i've never had problems with it, but now i have one.
It won't let me log into BC. i type in my login info, and hit login and it just takes me back to the main page without logging in. I've tried updated firefox, I even reinstalled firefox, but no luck. So now i'm stuck using IE :(
any help?
thanks!

The problem I had was that in addition to clearing cookies I had to completely shut down my machine (not a quick restart) to be able to log back in.
