Its all glass, but the underpart looks just like the original. The one that came with the car had a hole on the top sheet of aluminum, & the botom pice was a little bent so we bent it back in to shape & made a mold out of it. Then we made a mold from the top part of my Trans Am, and fuse them together. Its not functional at the time but it could be cut to make it work, anyways I dont think it would make a diffrence in performance but for shure it would look cool to open the hood & have a scuare filter like the Trans Am.

Damn, I'm thinkin how bad-*** my PA would look with a cowl like that, but with a single inlet.

Nice, I think the right cowl hood for the 96-99 would be a upside down cowl that'll suck the hot air out.

It does look nice and aggressive, but the ONLY way I would even think about putting one on my 97 would be if it worked.

At the very least, it will flow cool air into the engine bay, and maybe help intkae temps a bit. On a L67 car, it would help cool the */C a little. And it really wouldn't be that hard to make it fully functional as a ram-air type intake, which would flow nice, cool air in even if it didn't really add any intake pressure.
Stop nitpicking, it'* gorgeous work.

Nice work! It'* a bit too...BIG...for my taste, as I prefer a slightly more subtle look with two separate scoops. But you did a great job!!

Can you take more pics at different angles, and not so close up?
