it sucks that it happened.. really. But they're people just like anyone else, and being a human being, they're bound to screw up at one time or another. Hell, I'll admit that the first time I was drunk I thought I was fine to drive too, just as many drunk drivers feel. Theey don't think that they're drunk when they're hopping behind the wheel. I"m not condoning drunken driving by any means, I"m just pointing out that many of us have been in a similar situation before.
