This is the same organisation that opposed our local parks thinning out the deer population on the grounds that shooting deer is "inhumane". Meanwhile, the deer were starving to death in the winter because the overpopulation problem meant they had stripped their food supply by December. Then they wanted us to try herding the deer into enclosures, so we tried that. We didn't capture a single deer, but we did have a volunteer hurt when a deer ran him down coming out of a thicket.
Screw PETA. Bunch of asswipes, the lot of them. Stupid, interfering little ninnies, getting in the way of the people doing the real work. I have never, ever met a member of that group that I would consider sane and/or a productive member of society. Their as bad as GreenPeace, but without the balls.
