Default few performance questions. 01 aurora

I just have a few quick questions about some performance enhancements on my car. Firstly, will the 4t65E be able to handle the extra power? What are its limitations? I cna't remember exactly how much the L36 owners here are putting to these transmissions. Second, will a jet performance chip also increase gas mileage? It says on their site it increases horsepower for the Aurora anywhere from 11 to 13 horsepower, but it doesn't say anything about gas mileage or if you have to run premium. With just a few small mods I should be close to the same speed the Riviera was giving me stock.
