Took my 12 year old cat, Sinder to the emergency Vet. today. She had not eaten in five days and drank very little water. Vet said she had kidney failure, ulcers in her mouth and stomach. Had to put her down. She was just a little, 7 lbs. $hit, but we loved her. To top it off, it was my wife'* birthday. Those of you with pets know how I feel right now. Thanks for listening.

it hurts so much to lose a pet.

I haven't had to put any down, but i would hate to lose any I do Have. I could not imagine what it would feel like.

Thanks guys. What is really wierd is that in the past two weeks both my wife and I had dreams that she had died.

I'm sorry, I know exactly how you feel. This past summer I had to put my dog to sleep because he had a cancerous tumor that was spreading and causing him too much pain. He was my best friend.

yea im sorry too. my cat is 7 and i dont ever want that day to come.

but when it does i know ill have to go the next day and get a new kitten.

Sorry about your loss. My Mom has an old cat. I will miss the cat a lot when it'* time for it to move on, and I know my Mom will be a wreck for a long time.
