yeah watches suck. well I always mess them up and forget to take em off so they always get trashed within a few weeks.
But in this day in age I have way to many reminders of what time it is:
Desktop PC 1 clock
Desktop PC 2 clock
Laptop clock
living room vcr clock
bedroom vcr clock
bedroom stereo clock
clock on wall in living room
clock on my living room stereo
Microwave clock
Oven clock
alarm clock 1
alarm clock 2
bathroom clock
when I am not at home:
Cell phone clock (one on outside one on inside)
at work:
desk clock
clock on work laptop
clock on work pda
clock on work desktop
clock on wall in my office
Yes when the power goes out it sucks but I still know what time it is

I've worn a watch since I was 9 or 10 years old. I feel like I'm listing to one side without one, now.
And, yeah, I got a $120 watch for "free". The Missus had to work for it, tho. For every "however many" Skagen watches she sells, she can trade the receipts in for a free one. She got herself a couple of really nice ones, with diamonds and such on 'em...

i feel as if its my duty to inform everyone that there is no such thing as a waterproof watch. if you ever find one that claims to be waterproof [and its in america], they are violating federal law. false advertising and all that. i always have to be careful what the customer says, because if they ask about a waterproof watch, i have to say that legally theres no such thing. we sell water resistant watches.
