Family trip to 6 flags
The forecast for the day was rain and Tstorms. But I looked at the radar and everyone in the group looked to me for the answer. I said let'* go for it.
We got there nice and early. We ended up with about 12 of the 20 that was going to go.

First ride was Superman, Tristan had never been on a roller coaster.

No rain, but we still got wet.

Vertical volicity, wow is all I can say.

It'* so fast the video does not even get close to showing it. Shot forward with magnetic induction. You are slammed in to the seat.
Shooting the water canon. It'* harder then it looks.

Raging bull. nearly a 3 min roller coaster ride.

The day was great. No rain at all. The crowds simply didn't show up. The longest wait was about 5 mins. Most rides we walked up and got on, or waited for the next train.

Gotta love not having to wait. I've been to Six Flags near Chicago about 4 times. Raging Bull is a great ride even without any loops.
I like how on the vertical velocity when you get to the 'top' they hold you there for a second. Freaked me out a bit the first time.

I've been to great adventure only once. (that'* what we call it here in NJ, lol) We purposely planned it on a rainy monday to avoid the crowds, and it also managed to be sunny for the most of the day until the late afternoon, by that time the lines started to get really long as well. But in the morning we were able to ride some coasters 2 or 3 times really quick.
Nice to see the family enjoying themselves. = )

Is that the one in Gurnee, IL? I was stationed at Great Lakes, and had my car down there when I was in school. Used to go the Gurnee Mills Mall all the time, but never hit Six Flags- it was winter when I was there.
